In this supernatural mystery, set in the dense forests of Italy in 1873, a young mother and her son find themselves lost and disoriented. About the director & screenwriter
Writer/director Joshua Boon (The Netherlands) is a versatile creator with a diverse body of work, including shorts, animations, and scripts. He made the well-received sci-fi comic Krank (krankcomic.nl). His music was appraised and recognised and many national and international publications.
Boon has also produced a cartoon featuring the voices of Boom Chicago actors (Boom Chicago is the Dutch improv group with with alumni such as Seth Meyers, Jordan Peele and Jason Sudeikis), and Michael Robles (Cartoon Network USA, Nickelodeon USA).
Collaborating with industry figures like Errol Nayci (producer of “Hoogvliegers,” “Ninja Nanny,” etc.) and writer/producer Ruud den Drijver (“Lijmen/Het Been”, “Topor et moi”) Boon has honed his craft. His foundation in film production was laid during a half year production internship at HALAL.Amsterdam (New Kids, Prins).
